Planned Giving

Planned giving, or legacy giving, stipulates a donor's intention to contribute a major gift to an organization, beyond their lifetime. So, unlike an annual gift (an outright gift made for current use), a planned gift is for the future.

Thus, by definition, a planned gift is any major charitable gift included in the donor’s financial and/or estate planning. These include gifts of securities and stock, real estate, life insurance, retirement plans, partnership interests, artwork, personal property, or cash.

St. Patrick Academy is honored to be named in the estate planning of its benefactors and friends. Your planned gift is appreciated and valued, providing a lasting link between you, the students, and the mission of the school.

Your legacy gift can receive public recognition (in the form of signage, for example) or it can remain anonymous.

The Development Office can offer guidance when making a planned gift to St. Patrick Academy. Call Robin Tagliaferri, Director of Development, at (401) 421- 0810, or email rtagliaferri@stpatsri.org.
