An essential part of SPA's mission is service to others. Theology courses at St. Patrick Academy, along with some extracurricular groups or clubs, have a requirement that students perform community service. Each year, students are required to complete a specific set of hours.

Students begin this work in the first quarter of the current year, with requirements to be met for each grade.

This year, SPA has introduced a Student Service Program Coordinator, Mr. Michael Cote. Mr. Cote will guide and assist students in identifying meaningful and appropriate service opportunities for the 2023-2024 school year. Mr. Cote along with the theology teachers, will approve the community service placement. Once the community service placement has been approved, students will expect to log and keep track of their hours.

During the school year, Mr. Cote will check in with students to discuss their service hours, placement or potential obstacles to overcome.
