An essential part of SPA's mission is service to others. Theology courses at St. Patrick Academy, along with some extracurricular groups or clubs, have a requirement that students perform community service. Each year, students are required to complete a specific set of hours.
Students begin this work in the first quarter of the year, with requirements to be met for each grade. The Student Service Program Coordinator will guide and assist students in identifying meaningful and appropriate service opportunities for the 2024-2025 school year. Along with Theology teachers, the coordinator approves the community service placement. Once the community service placement has been approved, students will be expected to log and keep track of their hours.
The Student Service Program Coordinator will check in with students regarding service hours or placement.
